This week was pretty good but a little frustrating.

This week was pretty good but a little frustrating. We have these 2 girls that we are teaching who go to church with their mom every Sunday because the mom is an active member now. We had plans to baptize the younger one this week and the older one wanted to wait a little bit. However, the dad of the girl got really mad for some reason and has decided not to give permission to the younger one. It's kind of frustrating but we'll continue working with the family to help them. 

Other than that, it was kind of frustrating to start the week because we couldn't find anybody but it was rewarding when we found some awesome people on Saturday and Sunday. We should have some plans to baptize this transfer and we'll continue looking for more for the future.

First Transfer of Training Completed

We had a good week here and we've completed the first transfer of training. We have 6 more weeks left and that probably means this is my last transfer in this area. Things are going well and my kid is progressing well. We don't have any problems and things are going well and it looks like we should have some more baptisms this transfer. 

Not too much happened this week but we did have a cool moment at church on Sunday. We had a good amount of investigators that came to church and almost all of our converts as well so we took out a pretty big chunk of the congregation because we all sat together. It's cool being an area for a long time because you see the progress over time.

We had another pretty good week here in Sanchez Cerro 2.

We had another pretty good week here in Sanchez Cerro 2. We didn't find too many people this week but 2 of the people we did find were really awesome. One of them is dating someone from the church so that helped and he even came to church this Sunday. He seems like he'll progress really well. We're also teaching 2 daughters of a member here who are 10 and 15. They have baptismal dates for next week and it looks like the 10 year old will get baptized for sure and the 15 year old is coming around little by little. They come to church almost every week and their Mom is completely active now and it's been fun to work with them. 

This week my kid and I went to Piura for a training meeting which was pretty fun. Not too much has happened other than that though.

Edwin's Baptism

We had a good week here in Sanchez Cerro 2.

We had a good week here in Sanchez Cerro 2. Edwin got baptized this week and it has been awesome to see his desires and progress. I wish all people had his desires to follow Christ. 

We are still having some difficulties finding people but the few people we find are really good and have desires to progress. We also are teaching some teenagers who want to get baptized and they go to church with their uncle every week who is the young men's president. We have to work with their dad because he gave them permission at first but decided he wanted to think about it more. They were going to get baptized this Saturday but we will probably have to wait like 2 or 3 weeks to see if he says yes.  

I have quite a few pictures to send but I can't upload them right now so I'll have to wait till next week. Anyways, love you guys and have a good week!

Happy New Years!

This week was pretty good but we didn't have too much success finding people. However, we're happy and excited because Luciana got baptized this past week and has been going to church every Sunday with her brother. Also, Edwin will be getting baptized this Saturday! Things are going well here but trying to find people is a little hard here in this time of the year because everyone is partying and drinking. 

Not too much other than that has happened but it was great to talk to y'all this past week. I hope y'all have a good week and a great new year! Love y'all!
