I'm going to be a Dad!

So I'm writing a little early today because I'm chilling in the office all day. The reason for that is because we got our transfers and I'm training! I'm excited to train and that means I'll be in Sullana for 3 more months. It'll be crazy but I'm stoked.

So this week was a little slow but kind of crazy and we had a zone conference with 4 zones and an Area 70. It was super good and super fun and I got to see and meet a lot of new people.

The good news for this transfer though is that it looks like we should have 2 at least 2 baptisms. They are both kids but we are helping their families reactivate.

Anyways, I'll get my kid tomorrow and we'll see how this first week goes.

Have a good week and love you guys! (I have pictures to send but I'll probably have to send them next week)

1 Year!

We had a pretty good week but it is frustrating sometimes. We keep finding a lot of people but a lot of them are unmarried which makes it hard :(. Also, our golden investigator took off to Ecuador and might be there for 2 months or so... It's kind of sad but I hope I'm here when he comes back and we are also planning on teaching his wife soon (they're married).

One thing we have been doing lately is having FHE's with many families and it has really helped us find new people and reactivate others.

Something that was really cool this week was that President Nelson came to Peru and was in Lima. We watched a devotional just for missionaries and one for all the members. It was an awesome experience and we learned a lot. President Nelson also gave his talk to all the members in Spanish which was crazy.

Love you guys and have a good week!

Multizona

This week was pretty good and pretty fun. We had our multizona and it was good to catch up with some people and I learned a lot.

Not too much happened this week other than the normal. We did have 2 investigators that were progressing well and had baptismal dates but moved to Lima so that kind of stinks. We also had some trouble finding some of our other investigators this week but this coming week should be pretty good.

Have a good week! Go Astros! Love you guys!

2 hour church!!!

This week was pretty good. We did watch conference on Saturday in English and then we watched it in Spanish in a member's house on Sunday. We will be watching it again next week because there were elections yesterday and they will show it on Sunday. 2 hour church!!! I still can't wrap my head around that. I think it will definitely help with investigators and new members though. Conference was great though and it was a great testimony builder that we have a living prophet.

Other than that, we did teach the reference we got from Mexico and it went just about as good as a first lesson could go. He accepted a baptismal date and he has a lot of desires to progress which is nice. We are also planning on teaching his wife this week who seems really nice and can probably progress too.

Love you guys and have a good week!

Another Great Week in Sullana

We had another great week here in Sullana. We baptized a kid named Deyvis this week who was 9 years old. His family was less active but they have gone to church the last 2 weeks and we will be helping them continue to activate.

This area really is awesome and we see a lot of miracles everyday. The members help us a lot so I'm enjoying it. One of the miracles we had this week was we got a call from some sister missionaries in Mexico with a reference for us. We went to the guy's house and he was super excited to see us. He didn't have time for a message but he promised us that he would go to church. He ended up fulfilling his promise and he loved the church and made friends right away. It'll be exciting to get to visit him.

Other than that, I'm excited for conference week but we won't get too watch the sunday session until the week after because they have elections on Sunday and we won't be able to leave the room.

Love you guys!
