Basketball

It was another awesome week and it passed by super fast. It feels like I was just writing home yesterday. We did have some good success this week and we had our last zone conference with President and Hermana Rasmussen :(.

It was funny because we actually played basketball with President the night after the multizona and he's pretty good. After playing we talked with him for about an hour about the NBA and stuff. It was really cool but he's actually been texting me the updates of the Rockets games haha. I sure will miss them when they leave.

Anyways, we do have some people that are doing awesome. We should have a good chance to baptize this transfer if things keep going the way they are. The PF we found is a for sure baptism as well but we'll have to see if it will be this transfer or next transfer. Her Mom is in Bolivia right now and she wants to be there for the baptism but she might not come back till June.

Love you guys and have a good week! Go Rockets!

Illegal

So this past week has been crazy but pretty awesome for a lot of reasons. I wasn't able to write Monday because the missionaries in my group got sent down to Piura at the last second to work on our visas. We found out we have been illegal for about a month haha but hopefully we'll be legal in about 10 days.

Anyways, we do have a lot of hope for this transfer. 1 person that Elder Meza and I found in our last week together is progressing super well and wants to get baptized which I'm super excited for. She has desires to learn and loves the message we are sharing. We also found someone in another part of our area that is a PF and it looks like we should be able to baptize her. Her family is pretty much less active but we felt inspired to go visit them and now we're seeing miracles with them.

I also had the opportunity to do service this past weekend and help build a house for someone in my area. The people who were actually in charge of it were from a non profit organization in the states. It was nice to be able to talk a lot of English and about sports haha. They were super Catholic but they were awesome people and it was fun to meet them.

We do have our multizona tomorrow and I just had my last interview with President Rasmussen. It will stink not having him as the President but I'm excited to know the new one.

Take care. Love you guys and go Rockets!

May 7, 2018

Hey guys, what's up? It was a good week here in Zorritos. We had a little bit of progress and we also found someone that was super awesome. She actually stopped us in the street to talk to us and come visit her which was cool. The cita went super well but we won't be able to meet with her for awhile because she is going to travel a little bit.

It's also my last week with Elder Meza before he goes home. He'll be traveling most of the week to visit other people so I'll only really have 1 or 2 days with him this week before he takes off to Piura Friday. That also means I won't have too much time in Zorritos this week because I'll be in another area.

We'll find out transfers Saturday night so I'll know them before we skype on Sunday!

Love you guys and see you guys on Sunday!
