I played basketball

This week was pretty good. We saw some progress in our area. We had a good amount of people go to church which was awesome. This ward is amazing though and they're always willing to friend our investigators and accompany us.

This week we had a few meetings with the zone and we also had a service activity as a zone for the stake president.

Another fun thing we did was play basketball with other missionaries after we hadn't played for a long time.

My New Area and Ward is Awesome

This week was pretty good but pretty crazy as well. We were busy helping new missionaries move in and out of romos and we also had a leadership council with President that was pretty fun.
I really like my new area and the ward is awesome because they have quite a few people that want to help. We were able to teach some good lessons and the members went with us. We also had a really cool experience because the stake president and his wife accompanied us to a cita. It was a really good cita and they were able to help us and the investigators a lot. We have some people that are progressing and have a chance to be baptized at the end of the transfer. We also have some others that are working to get married and want to be baptized.
Things are going really well with my companion as well. We’re always having fun and working hard and enjoying the work. Things are looking good for this transfer.
We also got to do a really cool hike today as a zone and we went to see a waterfall. (I'll send pics when they're done downloading)
Love y'all!

Surprise

This week was pretty good week but interesting. We had transfers and they were a little bit surprising. I got transferred to an area in Piura Central ( I finally made it to Piura) and I’m a zone leader now. My new companion is Elder Hardwick and he’s from Dallas. I’m excited to work with him and I think we will have a good transfer.
My companion stayed and he should have a good amount of success next transfer. It was looking like we might have 2 or 3 baptisms there. We were teaching a teenager that only needed permission from his grandparents. We were able to talk to them this past week and said they would give permission so he should be baptized next transfer. We were also teaching someone that just needed to get married and they started the whole process with the documents and everything. She should be married in the next few weeks and then she will be baptized after.
I’m excited to be in my new area but it was a little weird saying bye to people after only 1 transfer.
Have a good week!

Copa Piura and Conference

This week was pretty good and a lot of stuff was going on. I was able to watch conference in English and it was amazing. It's always good to hear the voices of the Prophet and the 12. It always builds my testimony. We had a little bit of progress in the area but we're still looking for more people.

We also had our big mission soccer tournament today that was really fun but disappointing because we lost. We should've won but we always have to blame it on the refs haha. It was cool to see so many people in the mission that I hadn't seen for awhile.

Love you guys and have a good week!

We ended the week by finding some cool people

This week was pretty good but it started off pretty slow. We had trouble finding people and all of our citas were falling but we ended the week by finding some cool people. One is a 16 year old that we found on Friday and he came to church yesterday. He has some friends in the church already because he plays soccer there every week. We're real excited for him. We also have another teenager who came to church with his aunt and cousins. He has everything ready to get baptized but he just needs permission from his grandma. If we can get that than he should be baptized the next transfer.
I'm super excited for General Conference this week but hopefully I'll be able to watch it English. Next Monday we also have a soccer tournament between all of the zones in the mission which will be fun and our team should have a good chance of winning.
Other exciting news is that one of my investigators from my last area was baptized. We were going to baptize her in our area but she moved to another area and got baptized there last week.
