Yaris got baptized!

We had a pretty amazing week here in our area. Yaris got baptized and it was an awesome experience. Elder Falabella gave the mission advice on how to invite people to a baptismal service and how we can get references from it. We followed that advice and we were able to get 8 non members there. A few of them were friends of her and one of them has a lot of desires to get baptized as well. We were able to teach her she has already come to church as well. Her name is Ruth and we're trying to work with her family as well. Yaris also wants to go visit her other friends as well and she wants to leave for a mission either next year or the year after because she turns 19 next year.

I'm enjoying my time here with Elder Lopez and time continues to fly by crazy fast. We hope to stay together for at least another transfer because we have a lot of people progressing and will be ready for baptism next transfer.

Love y'all!

Multizona with Elder Falabella

Well it was good to talk to y'all yesterday. I don’t have to much to write but it was another good week. We had a multizona with Elder Falabella that was really good. He gave us a lot of good advice and shared his perspective of things to help us be more successful missionaries.
We’re excited for this week because Yaris will be getting baptized. She’s been doing really well and she’s already invited some of her friends to church. We found some good people this past week as well that have a lot of potential to progress.

This past week was awesome

This past week was awesome and a lot of good things are happening in our área and our zone. To start off, we will have a baptism on the 22nd and her name is Yaris. She has been coming to church and activities and has friends in the ward. She had made the decision to get baptized but she thought she wanted to postpone the date till July. We felt that she was ready and prepared so we were trying to help her feel like that. We invited her to pray about that certain fecha and she received her answer that she should. We also have a few others progressing and some good people that we found this past week. Also, our zone is doing amazing and it’s full of great people so we’re having fun while working hard.
Today we had a zone p-day and we went to a little zoo-park and it was a lot of fun. We got quite a few pictures to send this week.
This week will fly by as well because we have a lot of things to do and we will have a multizona with Elder Falebella.

The area is looking good

We had a pretty crazy but stressful week here. My new companion is awesome though and we get along really well. He has a lot of desires to work so I think we’ll get a lot of stuff done this transfer. This is his first transfer as zone leader so I have to teach him some stuff but we’re still learning some of the things we have to do together. We were busy doing a lot of things and a lot of it we just had to do on the fly.
Other than that stuff, the area is looking good and we should have a baptism in a few weeks and some more in the weeks to follow. We have 5 people that have a really good chance of being baptized in these next 6 weeks because they’ve all gone to church and the ward has friended them really well. I’m excited for the things that are happening here.
Love y'all!
